1. Check the height of the jaws of the matching coupling
Under normal circumstances, the height of the claws of the half coupling is the same, but the length of the claws is slightly different. If we use the top of the short claws as the benchmark at this time, it will cause the long claws to match the gap too small or even It cannot be assembled. Therefore, when the length of the claws is the same, adjust the end gap based on the long claws.
2. Check whether the motor output shaft is protruding
The added motor half coupling may cause the output shaft of the motor to protrude relatively. During assembly, the half coupling of the reducer is limited by the output shaft of the motor, causing the coupling to be unable to be assembled to the predetermined end with a gap.
3. The chamfer size of the inner side of the matching coupling
The size of the chamfer on the inner side of the coupling is also a key factor affecting the gap at the coupling end, because the step position of the motor output shaft is generally rounded, which is the same as the chamfer of the half coupling.
When mating, the end of the coupling can usually be affected and the gap is 2-4mm so in the assembly process.First, measure the size of the step of the motor output shaft or the step of the input shaft of the reducer, so as to chamfer the half coupling accordingly.Only then can the half coupling end and the gap be adjusted to a proper position.
