  If the drum gear coupling is guaranteed to work reliably, good lubrication is indispensable, and replacement can slow down wear.
  Most of the high-speed drum gear couplings are lubricated by lubricating oil. The lubricating oil needs to be filtered by a high-precision oil filter with a filtration degree of less than 10 microns. The tooth surface requires continuous lubrication, otherwise the temperature of the tooth surface will increase and moisture and water will accumulate. Dirt, some high-speed drum gear couplings sometimes use the structure of the oil collecting groove, that is, the oil collecting groove is machined in the shaft hole of the external gear, and the oil hole communicating with the oil collecting groove is drilled at the bottom of the external gear tooth groove, in order to make it fully To get lubricated, we use the centrifugal force generated by the high-speed operation of the drum-shaped gear coupling to spray the oil into the meshing part of the inner and outer teeth.
  In order to eliminate the edge extrusion and stress concentration of the straight tooth tooth end of the coupling under the condition of angular displacement, the drum tooth surface improves the contact conditions of the inner and outer teeth, thereby reducing the friction and wear of the tooth surface, and reducing noise.Under the same conditions, the outer diameter of the inner gear sleeve and the large outer diameter of the coupling, the carrying capacity of the drum gear coupling is on average 15-20% higher than that of the straight gear coupling;
