Installation and use of serpentine spring coupling

　　The serpentine spring coupling is a metal coupling with advanced structure, which transmits torque by the serpentine spring leaf.It has good damping performance, long service life, large load changes, and start; high transmission efficiency, reliable operation, low noise, good lubrication, simple structure, convenient assembly and disassembly, and large installation deviations are allowed.Pay attention to the following aspects in use.

　　1 Carefully align the installation and control reasonable deviation: Although the serpentine spring coupling allows larger installation deviation, it should also be within the specified value during installation

　 (1) Align the gap and angular deviation between the two-lobe coupling. When installing, measure the gap between the two-lobe coupling every 90°, and the difference between the large value and the small value does not exceed 0.38mm.

　 (2) Correction of radial deviation.Put a ruler on the two-part coupling, measure it every 90°, and check with a ruler, the radial deviation does not exceed 0.38mm.

　　2 Select the appropriate grease: The temperature of the oil injection point is ≥150℃, which can resist the action of centrifugal force, has separation stability, no impurities, and does not corrode carbon steel and nitrile rubber. Lithium-based grease is better.

　　3 Fill sufficient grease to change grease: Sufficient grease is very important for the work of the coupling, it is recommended to check once a year.Use a dry grease gun to inject grease until there is excess grease overflow in the hole.
