1. The plum blossom elastic coupling can transmit torque and rotation angle, and absorb shaft deviation. When the installation deviation exceeds the allowable value, it may cause vibration or shorten the life of the coupling. Therefore, ensure that the deviation is adjusted properly.

  The deviation problem of the plum blossom coupling is analyzed as follows:
  1. The plum blossom elastic coupling can transmit torque and rotation angle, and absorb shaft deviation. When the installation deviation exceeds the allowable value, it may cause vibration or shorten the life of the coupling. Therefore, ensure that the deviation is adjusted properly.
  2. Deviations do not only occur in equipment assembly. Vibration, thermal expansion, bearing wear, etc. during the work process can cause deviations.Therefore, it is recommended to adjust the axial deviation to less than 1/3 of the maximum value.
  3. There are three kinds of shaft deviation, namely radial deviation, angular deviation and axial deviation.Please adjust the deviation so that it is lower than the allowable value listed in the specification table of each product.
  4. The allowable value of large deviations listed in each product refers to the case where only one deviation exists. When two or more deviations exist at the same time, the allowable value should be less than 1/2 of the large deviation in each specification table.
  Drum gear couplings are rigid-flexible couplings, with radial, axial and angular axis deviation compensation capabilities. Compared with CL type straight gear couplings, it has a compact structure, small turning radius, The advantages of large carrying capacity, high transmission efficiency, low noise and long maintenance period.
  Drum-shaped gear couplings are rigid, flexible, and inelastic, so they are not suitable for machinery that requires damping, cushioning, and two-axis alignment.
  1. Strong carrying capacity.Under the same outer diameter of the inner gear sleeve and the large outer diameter of the coupling, the carrying capacity of the drum gear coupling is on average 15-20% higher than that of the straight gear coupling.
  2. The tooth end of the outer gear sleeve is in the shape of a horn, which makes the assembly and disassembly of the inner and outer teeth very convenient.
  3. The transmission efficiency is as high as 99.7%.
  4. The drum-shaped tooth surface improves the contact conditions of the inner and outer teeth, avoids the disadvantages of spur tooth end edge extrusion and stress concentration under the condition of angular displacement, and at the same time improves the friction and wear of the tooth surface, and reduces Noise, long maintenance period.
  5. Large angular displacement compensation.When the radial displacement is equal to zero, the allowable angular displacement of the spur gear coupling is 1º, and the allowable angular displacement of the drum gear coupling is 1º30, which is increased by 50%. When wide, the angular displacement of the drum-shaped gear is larger than that of the straight tooth.
